MISSION TRIPS

Former AGA high school teacher Rick Jordan began a vision of short-term mission trips in 2014, taking AGA students, families, and friends to the Dominican Republic. These trips, in partnership with Maranatha Volunteers International and supported by Palmer SDA Church, continued every two years (with a COVID-19 break), reaching Panama, Bolivia, and Peru, and returning to the DR in 2024. To continue Rick's legacy, future trips will be led by AGA high school science teacher Stacy Peterson and his wife Laura, experienced Maranatha leaders and Palmer SDA Church members.  Planning is currently underway for the next trip to South American during Spring Break 2026.
